Faster than forgetting.
One tap — or the Lock Screen, the Action Button, your Watch, Siri. If it takes longer than the thought lasts, it’s too slow.
Hi, I’m Szabolcs. I founded SabeeApp — if you ask me, the best hotel management system in the world (I may be slightly biased). My head is full of ideas, and they love turning up at the most inconvenient moments. Drop makes sure none of them slip away.

Good ideas never arrive when you’re sitting at a desk with a pen. They arrive in the shower. On the motorway. Halfway up a hill on a bike. At 3 a.m., politely waiting until you’re almost asleep.
For years I tried everything. Notes apps (a lovely collection of half-sentences). Sticky notes (a colourful collection, on the fridge). Voice memos — which worked perfectly, except that nobody, including me, has ever listened to a voice memo twice.
Then came the drive. I was on the motorway when an idea arrived — a really good one, for SabeeApp. Clear as day. I repeated it to myself for a few kilometres, very pleased with myself.
By the next exit it had politely left. I laughed and said out loud: there has to be a better way. (The car next to me seemed to agree.) What I wanted was simple — just say a thought and have it land in the right place: the task in my to-dos, the meeting in my calendar, the idea in Notion. Nothing did that yet. So that evening, buzzing with it, I opened my laptop and started building.
Here’s the thing about building a voice app: you spend a lot of time talking to your phone in public. People noticed. At the office, at dinner, in the queue at the bakery.
The questions started with “are you on a call?”, moved on to “what is that?” and ended, every time, with “can I have it?”. Colleagues, friends, my family, then their friends. I didn’t plan a launch. The word just spread, one confused onlooker at a time. The rest is history — and a lot of very well-organised to-do lists.
Sorry — are you on the phone?
No, I’m talking to Drop.
You’re talking to… a drop?
Give me your phone.
One tap — or the Lock Screen, the Action Button, your Watch, Siri. If it takes longer than the thought lasts, it’s too slow.
Not another inbox to check. Tasks, events, ideas and lists land in the apps you already use.
No ads, ever. Your audio never leaves your phone. I built this for my own head first — it had to be something I’d trust with it.
Did you know you’ll soon be able to add a reservation to SabeeApp just by saying it? “Book a double room for the Smiths, 20th to 23rd, two adults” — and it lands in SabeeApp, with availability and price checked for you. Two of my favourite things, finally talking to each other.
What is SabeeApp?Thanks for reading. Now go and say something.
